Snells Law

The reflection and transmission response of light crossing a boundary depends on both the indices at the boundary and the angle of incidence to the boundary plane. The angle of incidence θi from a medium of index ni is directly related to the transmission angle θt into a medium of index nt, with angles from the plane normal.
