Photonics21 is a European technology platform uniting leading photonics industries, research entities, and stakeholders along the photonics value chain. It drives innovation by setting research and development priorities in areas such as digital infrastructure, healthcare, manufacturing, and energy. Through its Board of Stakeholders and Work Groups, Photonics21 collaborates closely with the European Commission to secure funding, define photonics-focused EU project calls, and promote photonics as a critical enabling technology for European competitiveness and sustainability across various sectors.
