Content and Creation Specialist (maternity cover)

This role is a temporary position for a 9 month period (maternity cover). The post will be for a minimum of 9 months but could be extended up to 12 months. This position is based at Fibercore House in Southampton with some hybrid remote-working.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and President of the Humanetics Sensors Group with day-to-day accountability to the Marketing Lead for the Sensors group, you will be supporting the marketing activities for the operating companies within the Humanetics’ Sensors Group – HITEC Sensors, OpTek Systems & Fibercore.

Primary role

  • Develop, execute, and manage content and creative marketing (internal/external) communication assets including print collateral, videos, video editing, website content and advertising.
  • Create multimedia digital assets for targeted CRM campaigns including social media (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Write/copy-edit/proofread copy for sales materials, ads, industry publications and targeted communications (e.g. newsletters).
  • Design production-ready electronic files for advertising collateral and trade show displays.
  • Maintain and develop internal tools such as inventory tracking, global contacts and corporate event calendar.
  • Build brand recognition: assist in the detailed preparation required for corporate events and experiential marketing.
  • Set up corporate template and ensure that all media communications from regional offices follows brand guidelines.
  • Maintaining the website in conjunction with campaign teams, to ensure content is regularly reviewed, up-to-date, including creation and implementation of new datasheets / brochures / webinars / landing page articles etc.
  • Responsible for purchasing giveaways, workwear and ad-hoc printed material to ensure best quality / price.

Additional role elements:

  • Take photos and videos (or coordinate with external vendor) for use in marketing materials.
  • Create digital assets for company website, update site with Drupal CMS interface.
  • Provide support to internal departments including graphics, presentations, and event setup.
  • Retouch product photography and manage brand assets.
  • Build and maintain company intranet pages.
  • Gather industry-related news content and post on social media.
  • General office skills: filing, copying, faxing, shipping, invoicing and data entry as needed.

Any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position.

Education and/or Experience

  • Qualified to degree level, preferably in marketing/creative/graphic design or with relevant experience in a marketing role (4 years +).
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Suite is key - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
